We no actually it doesn't, I've come to believe that the hexes
are in fact needed. Yes it does look
prettier without the hexes but we spent an awful amount of time measuring maneavours last night at
BADGA (AAR to come). So hexes will go on the maps today some time, which also opens the forum again on hex size, either: 1.25 or 1.5.
Thats pretty much the conclusion that quite a few of us have come to also. Hexes speed the game up quite a bit.
